Hall Food!
We'd like to thank Grady Nash and his family and Jackson Mower and his family for providing hall food yesterday. Thanks so much for the ice cream, cupcakes and cake, Grady, and as always, thanks for the great pizza Jackson!
The celebration of Grady's birthday was awesome!
Upcoming Programs!
With spring comes many good things: longer days, warmer weather, prom, graduation, and many more. The same holds true for our hall activities! All of this sunshine gives us the opportunity to do more outside programs and more flexibility. Important upcoming programs include the always popular Pancake Night in Mike's Apartment, as well as a concert featuring a school band (both this Saturday). We will also start doing more outside activities moving into April like trips to Duke and the quarry. One of my personal favorite programs is also coming up just next week: The High Points of the Year. It is a discussion based program, in which we talk about our favorite memories made this year. First Hunt is considered by many to be the best hall on campus, and with the warm weather and third trimester, life on First Hunt is about to get even better.
Last Weekend's Programs
This weekend was another exciting one on first hunt. Friday was a big night, as the boys set out to Adventure Land for some Laser Tag, Mini Golf and arcade games. With so much to do at such an amazing place, it was a land of adventure that rightfully earned its name. The first hunt boys turned to a more classy style of life on Saturday as they took a trip to go Tux shopping. Looking dashing in their new attire, the boys got some stellar tuxes at some incredible prices. As a finale to the weekend on sunday, we explored English culture, by serving up a warming wake up beverage of English Breakfast Tea. Sunday night it was back to the books for another exhilarating week of school.
Spring Sports!
It is finally third trimester and with the beautiful weather comes a load of awesome spring sports! As always, First Hunt is staying active and participating in every sport possible. In baseball, we have Trey Faddis, Quinten Stewart, and Raymond Blackwell. Vamsi Yechoor is playing golf. Jeshua Ray is the manager for the women's soccer team. Ashwin Monian and Jeffrey Phillips are playing tennis. In track & field, Jin Yoon, Dayton Ellwanger, and Chris Panuski are representing First Hunt. Keep up the good work boys. We've been doing extremely well this year in sports, and our boys are sure to finish strong!

IM Volleyball
1st Hunt pulled out a victory in our first IM volleyball match yesterday against 2nd Hill East. Though 2nd Hill boasted size up front, the skilled play from 1st Hunt ultimately proved to be the difference, as the Hunt boys won in two sets (25-22, 25-12).
Connor Davis opened up the scoring in the first game for 1st Hunt on his serve, putting the Visitors up 4-0. A lot of confusion, however, led to 2nd Hill winning 16 of the next 17 points. With the game nearing a critical point, Harris Short called a timely timeout to calm everyone down. 1st Hunt went on a 21-6 run to close out the game!
In the second game, Otis Skipper, Michael Robinson, and Jeremy DeJournett all racked up 5 or more points on serve to lead the Fire Lions to victory! Congrats, boys!
